Above all else I promise that your contact information and any personal details you share with us will not be shared.

We now work with another company (Vertical Response) in sending out our newsletter and reminders, and we have taken care to ensure that they are honest and honourable, and also will never divulge your information to a third party.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would add us to the list of people who you contact whenever you change your email address, simply because we like to keep in touch with our friends and visitors! - especially when you are both.

Vouchers

Our vouchers can be used for anything here at Ashwhin - artwork, retreat, therapy or workshop. The amount of the voucher (starting at £5.00) will be hand written on the voucher along with a signiture to confirm receipy of the stated funds. Without the signature to validate the voucher it is null and void.

All Ashwhin vouchers have no intrinsic monetary value - in other words they cannot be cashed in for money. All vouchers are dated, and if you do not use your voucher within one calendar year of their issue, then Ashwhin has the right to levy an additional charge on the holder of the voucher (when exchanged for product or service), if and only if, the charge for the service detailed has risen. This simply protects me if someone comes with a voucher that is several years old, and my prices have gone up in the meantime.

Please remember a reservation is a legal contract, and when you book you will be accepting the following conditions:-

Terms of Use for Retreat Flat - that you agree to adhere to by making a booking.

1. ARRIVAL - I agree to arrive no earlier than 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and to vacate the premises by noon on the day of departure. Unless alternative arrangements have been made.
2. CONTACT DETAILS - I agree to provide contact details including email, home address and contact phone number, knowing that these details will never be shared with a third party.
3. PAYMENT - Payments can be made on-line, or by sending a personal cheque made out to Ashwhin. The address is Derby Stewart-Amsden, Lochend, Balfour, Shapinsay, Orkney KW17 2DZ
4. DEPOSIT - I agree that, in the event of any cancellation, my deposit will not be returned.
5. ACCOMMODATION FEE - When I confirm a booking, I agree to provide the full fee for the accommodation one calendar month ahead of my arrival, and if I cancel my visit within the calendar month, I will forfeit the fee.
6. OTHER FEES -I understand that therapy sessions and workshops are charged separately to the accommodation, and this is normally paid at the end of the stay.
7. NUMBER OF VISITORS - I agree that the number of people occupying the accommodation must not exceed 2, without prior permission.
8. FOUR FOOTED FRIENDS - I understand that no pets of any kind are allowed, except in exceptional circumstances and by prior permission.
9. DAMAGES - I agree that I am responsible for leaving the flat clean and tidy and undamaged for the next tenant, and that I will pay for any damage or breakages at their replacement value.
10. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY - I agree that no responsibility is accepted by the landlords for any accident or mishap to persons or property while engaged in any activity there from, or for any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.
11. HOLIDAY RETREAT - I agree that the flat will be used as a holiday accommodation and for no other purpose whatsoever and I will vacate at termination date without prior warning or process of law.
12. SCOTLAND - I accept the holiday contract between myself and the Property Owner is subject to Scottish Law.
