Privacy

Above all else I promise that your contact information and any personal details you share with us will not be shared. We now work with another company in sending out our newsletter and reminders, and we have taken care to ensure that they are honest and honourable, and also will never divulge your information to a third party.

Keep in contact

We would greatly appreciate it if you would add us to the list of people who you contact whenever you change your email address, simply because we like to keep in touch with our friends and clients! We invite you to give us just a little more information so that we can improve our service for you. Our regular newsletter will continue to be sent out 4-8 times a year, however in between times we host events, have last minute retreat bookings, and offer goods and services at a reduced price - if you would like to be on the mailing list for any of these, simply select the link on the left to update your information

Guarantee

Any product from the shop may be returned unopened within one calendar month and a full refund will be given.
All products sold at Ashwhin are produced to the highest specifications and made by hand with care. Flower essences, following best practice, have a use by date on every bottle. Of course we hope that you never have anything to complain about in any of your dealings with Ashwhin, however please contact us immediately if you do. We will respond as quickly as possible.

Payment

All purchases are via Paypal or by personal cheque. No goods or service will be supplied before a personal cheque is cleared by my bank

Post, Packing and Handling

We will post anything anywhere, and we make no additional charge for small or large orders. However, due to the nature of the changes in the postal service, large orders outside the UK will be sent in lots no larger than 2 kilograms. Postage costs are calculated automatically when you order items. If you wish to insure your goods, please let us know and we will arrange this and add the cost to your order.

Prices and charging - Retail

Prices in the latest leaflets and web site supersede all others and are subject to change without notice.
Ownership of goods does not transfer until payment is received in full.
Ashwhin does not currently charge VAT
Orders cancelled after despatch will be subject to any charges incurred.

Vouchers

All Ashwhin vouchers have no intrinsic monetary value - in other words they cannot be cashed in for money.
All vouchers are dated, and if you do not use your voucher within one calendar year of their issue, then Ashwhin has the right to levy an additional charge on the holder of the voucher (when exchanged for product or service), if and only if, the charge for the service detailed has risen. This simply protects me if someone comes with a voucher that is several years old, and my prices have gone up in the meantime.
Retreat Vouchers may be used throughout the year, however you must book your visit before arrival to ensure availability

Retreat - Conditions of LET

Please remember a reservation is a legal contract, and when you book you will be accepting the following conditions:-

1. I agree to arrive no earlier than 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and to vacate the premises by noon on the day of departure. Unless alternative arrangements have been made.
2. I agree to provide contact details including email, home address and contact phone number, knowing that these details will never be shared with a third party.
3. Payments can be made on-line, or by sending a personal cheque made out to Ashwhin. The address is Dunstaffnage Mains Farm, Dunbeg by Oban, Argyll PA37 1PZ
4. I agree that, in the event of any cancellation, my deposit will not be returned.
5. When I confirm a booking, I agree to provide the full fee for the accommodation one calendar month ahead of my arrival, and if I cancel my visit wihin the calendar month, I will forfeit the fee.
6. I understand that therapy sessions and workshops are charged separately to the accommodation, and is normally paid at the end of the stay.
7. I agree that the number of people occupying the accommodation must not exceed 2, without prior permission.
8. I understand that no pets of any kind are allowed, except in exceptional circumstances and by prior permission.
9. I agree that I am responsible for leaving the flat clean and tidy and undamaged for the next tenant, and that I will pay for any damage or breakages at their replacement value.
10. I agree that no responsibility is accepted by the landlords for any accident or mishap to persons or property while engaged in any activity there from, or for any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.
11. I agree that the flat will be used as a holiday accommodation and for no other purpose whatsoever and I will vacate at termination date without prior warning or process of law.
12. I accept the holiday contract between myself and the Property Owner is subject to Scottish Law.
13. All bookings must now be confirmed in writing - email, fax or post. I apologise for this formality, however I can no longer afford to take people at their word, as this no longer appears to be a meaningful bond in our society.
