Ashwhin Retreat - Delightful Accommodation for One or Two People

As you will see on the plan, the shared entry, small office and therapy room are on the left, with your space on the right - although in practice the entire building is yours to use, except if I have a day client in for a therapy session, or I need access personally - like doing my yoga or meditation.
You may use the computer in the office to access your email and the internet if you wish. The office also contains most of the infamous library, and a collection of artwork for sale. We also sell cards, our own flower essences, meditation stools and vouchers.
You have a light, spacious bed/sitting room overlooking Dunstaffnage bay and marina, with the shared terrace just outside the patio entrance (from the bed-sitting room). The main room also contains a shower.
There is a separate kitchen area, and a wash room with toilet, accessed by an airy hallway.
We have nearly 3 acres of garden for you to enjoy, and Dunstaffnage Castle, several coves and beaches and woodland walks are all a gentle stroll away.
The entire building has a non-smoking policy. However, guests may smoke in the garden.

The Welcome
My partner Peter and I, and our delightful gaggle of four footed children live in the farmhouse just beside the Ashwhin clinic and retreat. We are always available to answer your questions, and there are two sheets of useful information in the flatlet, and a drawer full of information on local places of interest.
Whilst Peter and I will give you as much privacy as you could possibly wish, Mischa, Jessie, Andy, Keifer, Zairtu, Simba and Dana will instantly adopt you as theirs.
So if you are not an animal lover then this is NOT the retreat for you!

It's hard to put into words how special Ashwhin has been for me. Warm and friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings, the love and attention of the animals. A real home away from home... but so much more! This has to be down to the talent and beauty of both Derby and Peter.

Thank you fro creating the perfect sanctuary for me to be alone to reconnect with myself again. I have enjoyed being taken on walks by Jessie and Andy and the company of the cats.

It started with the warmest welcome by Ashwhin’s “furry friends”. I knew it was going to be”purr-fect”! Derby’s healing hands and magic potions were spellbinding! Peter’s balancing aura was omnipresent! Ashwhin is the silver lining we search for in every cloud. “The perfect retreat”! Thank you.

I feel so much better after my peaceful yet challenging few days here. Thank you Derby and Peter for your support and conversation, and to Jess and Andy for the play and walks, and to the cats for the company. Wishing you all the best for the future in this lovely part of the world or wherever life takes you.
