As you will see on the plan, the shared entry, small office and therapy room are on the left, with your space on the right - although in practice the entire building is yours to use, except if I have a day client in for a therapy session, or I need access personally - like doing my yoga or meditation.

We have nearly 3 acres of garden for you to enjoy, and Dunstaffnage Castle, several coves and beaches and woodland walks are all a gentle stroll away.

The entire building has a non-smoking policy. However, guests may smoke in the garden.

Welcome to Ashwhin's Retreat Flat - Your Home from Home

The Flat is in the old Dairy building, sensitively converted in 1993, along with my therapy room and a small office. The main entry is from the courtyard where there is off road parking.

A second entrance to the flat opens onto the terrace with the front garden beyond, and the sea is at the foot of the garden and across the road. This small private road leads to Dunstaffnage Castle with woodland and coastal walks, and the local beach.

I have this increadible yearning for home from time to time a place to put everything down and to remember how to live as life had intended!. I've found it right here - talk about personal retreat!

Kitchen Amenities

• Everything we could think of to make your stay perfect, including toaster, kettle, caffetiere and tea pot...
• refrigerator, combination oven, double hotplate, extractor hood.

General Amenities

• Towels and bed linen are provided, hand and tea towels for the kitchen, basic cleaning materials.
• Heating and hot water are included
• We have provided a television with a DVD and VHS player (and a collection of VHS tapes & DVDs), however the television does not have an aerial, as we expect that you will wish to escape from normal life, news, and the usual television programming for a while; also music CDs and tapes & player.
• Washing, drying and ironing facilities are available on request.

The Flat

You may use the computer in the office to access your email and the internet if you wish. We do have a broadband connection, so you can surf the web too.

The office also contains most of the infamous library - a wide selection of self-help, inspirational and aspirational books.

You can also purchase my original artwork, prints of my work and card collections.

We also sell cards of local scenes (photographs by Peter), our own flower essences, meditation stools and vouchers.

You have a light, spacious bed/sitting room overlooking Dunstaffnage bay and marina, with the shared terrace just outside the patio entrance (from the bed-sitting room). The main room also contains a shower.

There is a separate kitchen area, and a wash room with toilet, accessed by an airy hallway.
