Booking the Self-catering Retreat Flat is simplicity itself

In addition to a very special and caring service, we keep our prices affordable (from just under £33.00 a night for the accommodation) - because you need to take a break regularly. AND we are open All Year Round!

Payment Policy

To book in advance, please send by Paypal (see below) or personal cheque £50.00 to reserve your retreat holiday. Four weeks before your stay or to confirm your booking if you are booking last minute, I require the accommodation to be paid in full. Neither of these payments is refundable, so if you feel that you may have to cancel your retreat at the last moment, I would suggest that you take out holiday insurance.

All bookings must now be confirmed in writing - email, fax or post. I apologise for this formality, however I can no longer afford to take people at their word, as this no longer appears to be a meaningful bond in our society.

If you wish to enjoy therapies, tutorials or counselling/coaching sessions while you are here, they are costed separately, and you will only pay for what you receive - so if you choose to pay in advance, and then are forced to cancel, your fees for these will be refunded.

Fees

We have a new fee structure for our quiet, normal and busier months (the price you pay will be determined by what month your arrival date falls in), see table below for details. If you wish to stay for more than a week additional savings can be offered.

How to Pay

Send a cheque or pay below by Paypal £50.00 to secure your booking. The fees table below also allows you to pay online for your accommodation throughout the year.

Whilst most people choose to settle up for their therapy sessions at the end of their stay - if you know just how many therapy sessions you would like, then I can always sent an invoice via Paypal to your specific requirements. (This will be refunded in full if you are forced to cancel the holiday - though of course your accommodation fee cannot be if you cancel within four weeks of your holiday)

Arrival and Departure

We ask that guests normally leave by noon on the day of departure, and that they plan to arrive between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.. However we can be flexible, so if you have different needs, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you. If you are arriving in Oban by public transport, give us the details and we can collect you.

Complementary Therapies, Self Development Sessions & Training

Most visitors choose avail themselves of the wealth of opportunity here at Ashwhin to combine therapy sessions, perhaps some personal coaching or counselling and also explore one or more of the workshop topics. Retreat - Conditions of LET

Please remember a reservation is a legal contract, and when you book you will be accepting the following conditions:-

1. I agree to arrive no earlier than 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and to vacate the premises by noon on the day of departure. Unless alternative arrangements have been made.
2. I agree to provide contact details including email, home address and contact phone number, knowing that these details will never be shared with a third party.
3. Payments can be made on-line, or by sending a personal cheque made out to Ashwhin. The address is Dunstaffnage Mains Farm, Dunbeg by Oban, Argyll PA37 1PZ, UK
4. I agree that, in the event of any cancellation, my deposit will not be returned.
5. When I confirm a booking, I agree to provide the full fee for the accommodation one calendar month ahead of my arrival, and if I cancel my visit wihin the calendar month, I will forfeit the fee.
6. I understand that therapy sessions and workshops are charged separately to the accommodation, and this is normally paid at the end of the stay.
7. I agree that the number of people occupying the accommodation must not exceed 2, without prior permission.
8. I understand that no pets of any kind are allowed, except in exceptional circumstances and by prior permission.
9. I agree that I am responsible for leaving the flat clean and tidy and undamaged for the next tenant, and that I will pay for any damage or breakages at their replacement value.
10. I agree that no responsibility is accepted by the landlords for any accident or mishap to persons or property while engaged in any activity there from, or for any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.
11. I agree that the flat will be used as a holiday accommodation and for no other purpose whatsoever and I will vacate at termination date without prior warning or process of law.
12. I accept the holiday contract between myself and the Property Owner is subject to Scottish Law.
