Flower Essences are like homeopathic remedies for the emotions, mind and spirit. They are a gift from nature bearing the energetic imprint of each plant. Although they do not work directly with illness and pain on a physical level, by helping you with the energetic level they can stimulate your inner healer - helping you to complete wellness. Ancient Alba Range

The Ancient Alba range developed from my own personal journey away from the frantic pace of our society and toward natural rhythms. We can all learn to balance modern life and our own needs by remembering that we are children of Gaia. By accepting that we are deeply effected by the seasons, and the flow and rhythms of our beautiful world, we can reach our own potential, identify our spiritual path and regain inner peace.

By re-learning our ancient wisdom of flow and change as inspired by the seasonal changes in the northern hemisphere, I have gained immeasurably. I have used much of the lore passed down in the Celtic and Scottish traditions to give us a window into our past, and with it comes a magical doorway into our future. In the creation of the essences I was informed by plant lore, but my primary interaction and motivation has been working with the plants themselves.

As individuals we all need different things at different times in our lives. However, as humans there are issues and challenges that we have in common. Thus the tools that we use can be shared. These flower remedies are tools that I have found invaluable, and so have many of my friends and clients. And though these essences are associated with specific times of the year, each one can be used at any time, depending on your need. Dynamic Balance Range

The Dynamic Balance Range was created, because I see life as constantly changing and challenging. Whilst this is wonderful, because it invites us to learn and grow all the time, it can be jolly hard work to keep your balance and perspective. The issues that Dynamic Balance was created to address are very her and now - they are based on true experiences of my clients, and friends. they are perfect when you need a little gentle support.

As I continue to follow my own path, I am learning to listen more carefully and to respect just how very much we do not know. And, how much we have forgotten, for our modern society has lost so much knowledge that our ancestors learned as toddlers.

Few of us take the time, or even realise that we could take the time, to forge a new link to our natural world. Yet there are so many ways we can gain as individuals, and as a species. Every living thing gives out a unique energy, and a simple walk in the park or the woods can renew us.

Flower essences are just one way to utilise the abundance of our world. And, it is a gentle and loving way, especially when the guidelines fro good professional practice are followed.

I have gained from the use of flower essences for many years, and now find working with my own utterly magical and immensely helpful. hope you will too.

All the essences are made by hand here at Ashwhin from locally grown and organic wild flowers, herbs and trees. Care, respect and healing are an integral part of the process from selecting the flowers to sealing the bottles with organic tamper-proof bands. Like all flower essences, Ancient Alba essences are made from highly diluted extracts of the named flowers. These are in spring water, and brandy to preserve them. The flowers are collected carefully, and the solutions and bottling managed to the highest of guidelines for good practice.

Unlike most essences, the Ashwhin Flower Essences (both Ancient Alba and Dynamic Balance ranges) have also been given Reiki at every stage, from the original plant who shared the bounty of their flowers to help us, to the essence bottles you buy.
